Those bookmaker reps are very annoying at this stage!! Spouting on at every opportunity....nobody values their opinion but yet they are always on TV and radio bulls**t and giving tips....how ridiculous getting tips from bookies basically!

I'm in a bad mood today (third consecutive moan) but the voice-over on the SIS audio I heard prior to the 4.55 was dreadful. At one stage the Irish guy previewing the race said (between countless hems and haws) that he thought Louisville Lip might give JOHN McManus a double.

It'll be a while before I venture back.

He is the worst ever.He reads everything straight out of the racing post.If he tips a winner up he says I hope you took my advice and if a loser not a word.He never stops talking mostly repeating himself and is driving punters out of the betting shops.

I've never like Tom but if he said that to Leon the spout then he has gained a fan in me, Here is hoping for more of the same treatment for the parasites of the racing industry

You's got my hopes up there of Tom really putting Leon in his place. All he said was that he thought the 4/1 on the acca was bad value! Anybody could have said that!

Enjoyed That db    had to laugh regarding the money for the three in the hcap hurdle (IM TAKING THEM ON)
HE would have no input with regard to risk management with his employers

"They took on" a guy with very little substance,u wouldn't see them taking that tone with Brian Graham or Justin Carthy- all about optics and perception as they sit comfortably on the gravy train. No tough questioning for their sponsors at Fairyhouse when the stewards hoovered everything as far as 1.02 for the result to be reversed.
It enrages me to see a public service broadcasting channel(funded by our license fees and advertisement revenue)needs to stoop to crawling to inside sponsors(u expect it on atr) and then insults the public's intelligence by engaging in this sharade of "taking on Bookiies reps"

To be fair Blache needed to be pulled went the amount of waffle he spouted, they're good mates i think anyway seen them in Lep together at the Crimbo fest. Hayley O'Connor also needs to be pulled but in a different way.

Rocketfingers you would be terrified of Hayley O`Connor, she is a woman, sucessful a horse owner and breeder[was great to see her horse Six Silver Line win in Dundalk] in fact everything you are not.

Think the real target is been missed here. Woudl love to ask producers of rte racing, and other channels for that matter, why they insist on giving blaggers like blanche & loud mouth paddy power so much air time to spout their bullchit? It almost seemed like uk bookies reps had actually taken over presenting C4's cheltenham coverage this year, interviewing jockeys and trainers themselves. Why cant the likes of tom lee or tanya wotshername jsut give us the betting low-down without these parasites taking over? What kind of covert sponsorship arrangements are in place that allows this to happen? Cant imagine producers would just let this happen in the belief it actually improves their coverage!

U are correct gentlemanjohn, but whatever about commercial stations such as atr/c4 engaging in this carry on,it is disgraceful that a public service broadcasting channel with license fee and advertising revenue still needs to stoop so low.
Then again there is very little if any integrity in this sport, remember rte's coverage of the Edward O'Grady -finished article,tipp/galway hurdle debacle through gritted teeth he was interviewed.

Those interviews at the Cheltenham festival with Kate Miller and AP I'm sure they were Adverts and nothing to do with CH4 coverage if thats what we are talking about
