Hope you layed him at least some of those times!He would be some horse if he had a proper trainer who understood what his correct trip was over the years.

Small in by the wall double for me for the weekend,wary with the horses in general at this time of year anyway and also with good in the going description.

So-so run at Chelt,previously beat Imp Shabra and ought to again hold him at the weights,Perfect smile ran poorly last couple of times.original option should set the pace,will like the ground but has an absence to overcome,don,t think he,s in this class anyway. Impressive lto over c+d,hard to look beyond,Knocklong has done nothing wrong just got up in a bunch last time,Sizing joburg will want to be a bit out of the ordinary on his debut to win this. gl if having a punt this weekend. |

Following the Peggarty blow out yesterday, i'm off to the last race again for my nap today. O McKiernan's horses have been in great form this year and his Any Bets could be worth an interest today in the last. Given a couple of quiet runs so far this season on unsuitable heavy ground, both at todays track (dont know how revelant that is for today), he notably jumped well lto without getting any way involved. A winner in Balinrobe last season on good ground, off just a 4lb lower mark, he wasn't stopping that day, so the uphill finish shouldn't be against him should he be there at the finish. A lot of the opposition seem to need further, and/or softer ground to be seen at their best. Bruff, as mentioned in the RP spotlight is the real fly in the ointment and if the money comes for it then that would change the view on the race. But in the absence of same, i will have my few bob on Any Bets.

id view any bets as not a natural jumper on what ive seen.but i agree if he jumped reasonably he would hold a great chance.as you say conditions and distance in his favour and maybe not in others
