diplomat for d.weld @2/1 looks a bet to me ran in a decent maiden last season should have come on a bundle for that,..also seen atr this afternoon ..smullen thinks its his best chance with the one in the last?...was beaten by tower rock at navan over the distance..not sure if tower rock is held in any regard?

I'd have the Navan run over the fav's Dundalk run,Tower Rock showed up well in a Listed race nto at Leopardstown,I wouldn't rule out Lord Jim either so the fav's price looks skinny enough.
Agree about Diplomat but could you clarify what Smullen said,did he say Diplomat was his best chance or just the same as Train Of Thought.It may sound pedantic but as i don`t fancy Train Of Thought at all the nuances are important,this gelding has to have loads of problems as off course for a year,no Galway maiden,no three year old hurdle now reappearing at a low key Limerick older horse maiden.
I won't be giving up the day job for a while yet the way things are going.
