"If it was a soccer match there could have been a lot worse reaction from the crowd" in relation to the calling off of the Rugby match. When have Irish or even French football fans being involved in trouble? I would expect a nation to be emailing RTE to remind them of this fact !

the bane of ireland THAT d4 accent which is now spreading across the leinster region( drogheda in particular)

Actually there was a soccer match in Paris just a few years ago where something much bigger happened and there was no aftermath. The D4 accent is really all throughout the pale.

it was a rugby fan at the airport, type of fella who probably never goes to soccer

You'd be surprised regarding the French - PSG (I think) have had at least one supporters club closed down and part of their stadium due to an unsavoury aspect to their fanbase.

Mainly CNBC, i need to stay in touch with the markets as we now live in a global economy if you did not know you mono-browed Tipp hick

You claimed to be a hairdresser and later admitted to being unemployed so why the need to stay in touch with the markets.

Huge social problems in France from what I've seen, take those riots in the UK last year and multiply them.
Report Rocketfingers February 13, 2012 3:41 PM GMT
Wildman because we live in a global economy my friend, decisions taken in Paris can effect how you live in Tipp. CNBC is real time so we are kept up to date with all these going on's hope this helps my friend. Happy
