Are willies horses running slightly below par all of a sudden?

Evens is short enough?
Report silvergreaser February 11, 2012 8:49 PM GMT
Its all a guessing game yeh know?, unless you're in the hold, the hold consists of the whole bloody lot of them!, and I can't wait till one of them brings me up for libel, because then I'd know real journalists will pick up on the story and the whole damn world can see and destroy the greatest cozy relationship that ever existed.

Any judge worth his salt would see right through the whole sorry charade??
Report rubyisgodinthesaddle February 11, 2012 9:15 PM GMT
Completely agree....only negative is that Lambro is also a very good horse and not sure how much the extra distance will suit him tbh.

Best of luck if you play

Last Instalment has really excited me this year, he's given exhibition round of jumping after exhibition round.

While he may need 3m himself I don't see the step down in trip a major problem. I said I'd punt it at evens, now it's a case of have a decent bet at evens BOG or wait to see if 11/10 is available tomorrow
Report rubyisgodinthesaddle February 11, 2012 9:25 PM GMT
He is exciting...7 from 9 in his race track career. Very consistent and prob completely underestimated due to the Trainer.
Report silvergreaser February 11, 2012 9:33 PM GMT
C'mon over?

But you won't? see I can't wait to expose the whole bloody lot of the jobs for the boys.

Horses can't talk, your favourite get out of jail card?

But maybe a good judge can see right through the safety net you always play?

Silver you seem to have an extremely large chip on you shoulder. This allied with the fact that you don't realise just how insignificant you are provides much comedic value.

You've had your whole life to expose them. Lord knows you've been roaring about it anonymously for long enough. Fact is if it came to it you'd curl up like a little girl if given the chance to take on these people. It really is rather tiresome and what is particularly hard to understand is how you still bet on racing. That makes absolutely sense but then again thats nothing knew from you. Any sane person wouldn't even watch it never mind dedicate the number of hours you do to crying on here. If you had any dexterity at all you'd spend your free time doing something that doesn't cause you to go off on hysterical tangents. Fortunately the country isn't full of people like you or we really would be in the sh!t!
Report silvergreaser February 11, 2012 9:55 PM GMT
Unfortunately people me like who suddenly realised they were been saddled, oh forgive the pun?
Report silvergreaser February 11, 2012 9:59 PM GMT
Don't try! to fool me, I'm, as you guessed nobodies fool,

So why don't you face the truth and except the truth?

Irish horseracing is a cozy relationship, and the punter never ever existed?
Report rubyisgodinthesaddle February 11, 2012 10:02 PM GMT
I agree its cozy...but I think People have to realise that Making money from Gambling is a hard nosed business. If a punter expects to win he could not be in a worse sport. We are dealing with animals here.
Report silvergreaser February 11, 2012 10:08 PM GMT
Its a pathetic cozy relationship  why should we except the vested interests that surround us, our senior steward use to have horse in training with willie mullins, Roddy Ryan, so how can us as punters ever have a chance when the senior steward is in LOVE with Willie Mullins?
Report A Hard Day's Night February 11, 2012 10:13 PM GMT
Well silver theres a hell of a lot of people such as myself that are able to make it pay punting and aren't reliant on any cozy relationships so maybe it is more to do that you know the square root of fcuk all about horses!
Report rubyisgodinthesaddle February 11, 2012 10:14 PM GMT
Silver if Roddy Ryan did not own a horse with Willie Mullins....and marked out a few horses to send to the turf club for review can they actually prove anything??
Report silvergreaser February 11, 2012 10:19 PM GMT
Its not about making it pay guys I get winners too sometimes?

But you know what I'm getting at why should we except a totally unregulated sport?

These guys that regulate are more worried if some trainer will buy their stock, something wrong don't you think?
Report rubyisgodinthesaddle February 11, 2012 10:25 PM GMT
Its completely intertwined Silver but IMO you cannot change a sport in Ireland that is so small to completely regulated sport It just wont work.

Largely I think the sport is fine when the prize money and there are good races. I do think the poor fare for poor prize money is completely dodgy but look at Cricket, Soccer and who knows even GAA??....bad behaviour is all over these sports and now the Olympics could be under threat from the unregulated betting markets.

Racing is not perfect i give you that but its a damn sight better than it would be if it was completely regulated by the Buerocrats
Report Colonel Sanders February 11, 2012 10:28 PM GMT
@Ruby

I didn't understand how he was as big as 5/2 the night before his Xmas run and the only thing more puzzling is how I didn't top up at 3/1 on course!!
Report A Hard Day's Night February 11, 2012 10:30 PM GMT
Then don't accept this totally unreguated sport and fcuk off. It's pretty fcuking simple to be honest. Let the rest of us that know what we are looking at get on with the serious stuff and you can take up golf. It really is that easy because uneducated guys like you that don't know anything about horses are the ones that shout the loudest and spread a a whole load on nonsensical crap. Ffs AOB is probably the greatest trainer in the world and your like a child saying that you'd love to knock the glasses off his face. He goes racing maybe fifty times a year so you've had more than ample opportunity to do it. No chance though. You'd rather continue to hide behind your keyboard.
Report silvergreaser February 11, 2012 10:31 PM GMT
I disagree ruby, but thats the type of guy I am, I'd love to have a drink, and we don't agree, we might you know actually enjoy each others company.

Patrick is pretty all right if you give him some deliverance?

Another exhibition round of jumping apart from fiddling the 2nd last slightly. Was a bit worried after that with horses with a bit more speed queuing up behind but he put in another smart leap at the last and put the race to bed

A seriously exciting prospect, the RSA will surely suit him down to the ground (no pun intended, ground permitting). I think if there's a gold cup horse among the exciting bunch of Gigginstown novice chasers its this fella
Report neill d February 12, 2012 5:08 PM GMT
A Gold Cup at last lads?, I reckon first Lieutenant could still be the better Cheltenham horse though!!
Report punchestown February 12, 2012 6:59 PM GMT
Love this horse, his jumping on the whole is outstanding for a novice and has never even looked like falling, against speedier types today and shorter trip than ideal (Call The Police cruising turning in) but still knuckled down whwn asked Cool
Report rubyisgodinthesaddle February 12, 2012 7:47 PM GMT
What happened Shot From the Hip Is the question I be asking. McCoy never went for him, i wonder did he bleed.

Far better horse than Bobs Worth IMO...should be 2nd fav. Still think Russell will ride Mouse's horse.

I reckon a certain other jockey will be praying that you're right Laugh
Report rubyisgodinthesaddle February 12, 2012 7:53 PM GMT
Yeah tbh I think the winner is in the 2 of them...

We were hear last year with Time For Rupert the english overrate there novices 3 mile chasers massively like we do are 2 mile novice hurdlers.

Ireland won the RSA many time the past few years...see no reason why they won't this year.

Grand Crus bet that hound Silvarco Conti by 2l hardly great form. That horse can even jump. Lay of the festival Grand Crus
