Two Cheltenham winners on show today, Sizing and Scotsirish, think Zeb will win today on the ground.

Amazing in the first, WPM and Ruby credited with another winner in great season yet a punter loses 40% of their money on the race. Funny old game. Thought Ruby was caught napping TBH

Not a bad crowd at all turned up considering the counter attractions.

Race 1) Quite a few said Ruby was over confident on Allure Of Illusion. My read was that considering he didn't jump fluently at any of the hurdles that he did ok to get the dead heat.

Race 2) Trifolium 7/4f. Was much calmer in the paddock than at Navan and justified his lofty rating with aplomb.

Race 3) Cootamundra 14/1. Robbie Moran off the cold list with a very confident ride.

Race 4) Sizing Europe 9/10f. Paddock pick by a mile. Big Zeb was very buzzy in the paddock and needed two handlers. This surely didn't help his cause.

Race 5) Portrait King 7/1. Stays longer than the mother in law and that's what won it for him. A lot of scrimmaging in behind with Davy Russell and Start Me Up hitting the deck. A lot of inquisitions by the jockeys among themselves as they returned to unsaddle. Some angrier than others.

Race 6) Scotsirish 4/9f. Enda Bolger's monopoly on these bank races has been usurped by this horse winning his second successive race here. Nina was unlucky at Ruby's double and reckons without the mistake she may have won. As an aside, good luck to Nina and young Ted who tie the knot in Ratoath tomorrow. It should be some shindig for the racing community with no racing scheduled till Thursday.

Race 7) Morning Assembly 5/1 The morning jolly Mister Hotelier 4/5 was really weak in the market and it was collared close home by Morning Assembly who ran real green.

The winner missed the last and had some gas in the tank at the end so I'd disagree with Nina, nice write up soapp.
