Scotland +3 10/11
Experimental lookin English team but it may be the best thing to happen em, some of the old dead wood really needed to be shifted and good to see the in form younger players given their chance, will be very hungry but lack the experience - Scots are solid without bein flashy and have a tendancy to struggle to score tries thru the backline. But they have home advantage here and will be on top up front imo but they need to keep the penalty count to a minimum! Dont think they deserve to be the outsiders here but we shall see, hard to know how the english team will gel Other games - France have named a very good lookin team but id have to see the weather in France b4 backin em to cover a 19/20 point handicap - they will win and if the weather is fine id expect em to win by 25+ No bet Ireland - think Wales are slightly overpriced here at 9/4 but expect Ire to just scrape thru - No bet |

Here are my predictions.....England to beat scotland because scotland are no good.....France to beat Italy because Italy wouldnt beat Connacht.....Ireland to beat Wales because Wales wont try properly.....Wales would beat the shitt out of Ireland if it was a meaningful competition but this isnt....

England beat Scotland for me too, they look quite exciting, Ireland stagnating and all as they are will probably take Wales because they 'need it' more after the World Cup. I think france willprobably win the thing and I'll pick England to give them most to do.

This game sets up beautifully for Scotland. England first up at Murrayfield where England haven't won since 2004.
New look England,, nervous as hell. Poor conditions, go with a relatively settled and more expereienced Scotland. 6/4 earlier in the week, 11/8 best priced at the moment and moving towards evens. |

I reckon the Scots need a lesson or 2 form some under 10 players how to work a 2 on 1 - fkin hell they butchered enough chances anyway!

France look like they want to play for the new boss. Very cautious in 1st 20 mins, but they were superb after. Looks like Les Blues tournoi this year. Scotland will be crying into their haggis tonite as they made a complete balls of every attack in the second half. I hope we dont get too confident about the Welsh tomoro, over 2/1 here on Wales is madness. We will be nervous also, as we have a bit to prove. We also have a few young lads like England, but the English newbies are big, skillful and athletic. I dont see us covering the 5 pts(hope Im wrong).

everyone knows that the irish rugby team shamed themselves at the weekend....[all you have to do is count the amount of posts on this thread since the game finished]....none...now..does anyone else think that the irish mallet heads[the supporters] shamed themselves also...why? ..ill explain...did they not always pride themselves on givng the away kicker the upmost respect when he was kicking...didnt happen on sunday...why ..because the ugg came out in them...is it me or does this so called respect only appear when we are 30 pints ahead of italy and they have a penalty...
