Cahir is in South Tipperary don`t think they would take to self pitying whingers,try Belfast.

To limerick city with you,, great spot, lots to do and see, and only a short drive from scenic co clare, cliffs of moher, great golf courses and lots more.

I'd recommend West Cork ...nice mild climate , fabulous scenery , great Hotels , golf , fishing , sailing ,horse riding , restaurants ,  it's got the lot.
