Don't bother with the handicap imo, just hammer them straight, i can't understand what the Patriots are favs. Only for a dropped catch and that sack of sh|t Cuntliff they would of been out last night.

The match odds are 2.34 and both are worth a shot with the +3 worth a large punt imo 10/11 or better. Giants are amazing value

very good d..Jason Pierre Paul MVP of the world at the moment unstopable. Can't wait for the match agree. Should be tied no handicap on this one. 50.50 call

I hear ya Premier and i clicked on post by accident the first time as i meant to mention the match odds were a bet, but i'm taking the points while they're on offer as well as the moneyline as i don't think they'll near such a key number on the sunday of the superbowl. The giants beat the Pats in the regular season without a number of players and that was in New England. The Pats were lucky last night while the Giants have gone to Green Bay and San Fran 2 of the strongest home teams and won, it's very impressive. The line is inflated due to the Brady factor imo.

Brady was awful last night....the tight end is injured. Pats don't have any wide receiver with serious gas like davis last night. Everyway you look at it the Jets will do this pats offense.

I don't think it's 50-50 at all, i think Big Blue should be clear favs. In the playoffs the Patriots have beaten a woeful Broncos side and struggled past the Ravens last night (should of lost the game) both at home. On the other side the Giants have gone to Lambeau and Candlestick and beat both the Packers (awesome offense) and the 49ers (awesome D).
The Patriots D did alright in the 1st half last night stopping the run but where picked apart with ease in the 2nd half imo and they where absolutely blessed to win. I cannot see how the Patriots D will spot Eli and the Giants offense and i can't see the Giants D doing a decent job against the Patriots. Added to all that if Gronkoski is not fully fit that is a massive loss to the Patriots offense. |

*can see the Giants D doing a decent job against the Patriots*

We'll see a PK line on the day is my forecast with a good chance GMen being the fav. How the public bet is important to where the line will be, but i think there is another evidence to suggest to most people that the Giants are great value and if i'm right we'll could see Giants as the favs. Also Eli beating Brady in the superbowl a few years ago will be fresh in people's mind for this re-match.

The Giants were 9-7 in the regular season and for two shocking Punt return errors saved them in the end against an decent 49ers but it wasn't mind blowing from the Giants by any means.
The Patriots defense which has been awful this year held well enough last night, it aint the Brady of 4 years ago but he is still a fine player, If you think you could get 10/11 Patriots on the day I think it's a cracking bet. |
|

What happened in the regular season has nil importance in my opinion. In 2008 the Giants got into the playoffs as a wildcard where as the Patriots had gone 16-0. As with 2008 this year the Giants have got hot when it matters.

Squigs you get very close to that if you don't get it imo, i would hold off for the Pats as long as possible. Problem with the Pats is their Defense and as you have said not Brady who may have been poor by his standards last night. I think i am right in saying they'll be the worst ranked Defense in the history of the superbowl and in the regular were season ranked 31st of 32 teams. You can say the GMen were only 9-7 in reg season but one of those wins was in New England v the Pats with players missing. Pats division was a weaker one and up to last night they had not beat a team with a winning record and i don't think many would argue that they didn't get the rub of the green v Baltimore. Hopefully it will be a good night for all enjoying a few cans and eating rubbish.

I was hoping the Brady/Belichick factor
would make the line a point or two higher. Think straight money line on NY will do. And ill be paying close Attention to the pats injury reports and lads sitting out practice. There was talk Brady missed some practice last week and nobody believed a word of it. Maybe it was just an off night but maybe there was something not right there. I had to rewind the pick towards Edelman coz i couldnt believe even Tom thought he could fit it in there. Unless he was just unsighted but very un-Brady like. The extra week will help but if Gronk is out thats massive. The only deep threat they have is Chad Ocho and hes hardly clocking up game time! |

TBH I wanted the 49ers and Ravens with the Harbaugh brothers coaching against each other in the big one.
|
|
By:
Certainly can't remember a defense as bad as the Pats getting to a Superbowl admittedly, it will be good though and I won't be placing a massive wager on them either way.
|
|
By:
I wanted the Ravens too
will never forgive Cuntliff for that kick ![]() Early reports say Gronkowski will play in the Superbowl despite the injury, i suppose it depends how mobile he will be come the day |

As bad a night as Brady had Eli has just as bad. Some of his passing was woeful and was constantly caught in the pocket...i knw 49ers have a great d but at times he looked very average. Eli was superb at Green Bay and you would have to think that weather was a factor for the technician. Jets are on a huge roll now, there confidence is sky high. No way will Pat D destroy these lads like the 49ers did. The Defensive line won't hold the strong running game with that big beast making 5 yards every time. Pats secondary is poor as well.
I can really see how the Pats win this tbh...unless Brady and the tight end have a monster game as well as Hernandez but the chance of all 3 coming good are very remote. On reflection giants should be favorites. |

Ruby their the Giants not the Jets.

That Cundiff hook was bad alright.
And id be surprised if gronkowski didnt play. he'll have tape up to his knees if it isnt 100%. Id love to see a pic of his ankle this morning. id say its like a balloon! |

Disaster for Giants backers, totally dominated the 1st half and end up behind. 2 huge pens stopped their last 2 drives and now the Pats receive 2nd half
