Good recent form (maggie neary and elusive ridge have since won and the great denny crane behind). Murtagh was up for his last 2 wins, best treated by the conditions of the race (compared to hdp), well drawn, only 3rd run on a/w ..
19:30 Tell The Wind (nb) 7/1 looks fair for this 3ry old filly refinding last winters form. A good winner over 7f from a less than ideal position lto under Chris Hayes and sure to be even better over the mile so 4lb rise overcomable. The draw is a negative but she looks the one to beat for me.

18:00 if they get silly as is often the case, and dickies goes under 2/1 he's a lay for me. He looks speedy which at lingfield and goodwood is fine but with the long straight the dalk 6f takes a bit of getting imo esp from the front. To get to the front he'll have to work from stall 11. Alternatives: Mountain Coral would be suited by coming off a fast pace, is on a winnable mark 80, is in form is 4/11 CD, jockey is in great form, GLB with Murtagh up will be finishing and Copper Dock caught the eye last week
21:25 a lowly affair and Colin Keane on the fav. 17lbs higher than when winning an app race 2 weeks ago. Might be a bit keen after running over 8f last week (winning again) and though not one I'd lay there may be value against him: Try Freedom has only one win to show for 21 runs here winning off 54 last december. Down to 55 today and having a 2nd run off a break he might go close. Word for word is poor but consistent
