The Revenue defaulters list for Jul-Sep 2011 has been released and I see one Christy Roche, horse trainer, has been stung for just under €166K for Underdeclaration of Income Tax

I also see Sports Division (Eireann) Ltd, a subsidiary of JJB Sports PLC, trading at Unit 403 Blanch Shopping Centre, has been done for €1.665m for underdeclaration of VAT

If Roche is on this forum he will never be on that list again.

I'm surprised he hasn't had a lesson from the great J P himself in the art of tax compliance without expending too many of the actual readies.

that's an interesting one about JJB

they use Blanch as a dumping ground for stuff that doesn't sell elsewhere and bankrupt stock

I bought loadza good stuff there for a song in the past, though I was caught with a pair of spikes, 1 size 6, 1 size 8

they were nearly out of business a while back, so not surprised they were at that lark

Interesting list which includes another trainer and a prominent racehorse owner who won a Grand National not so long ago...

I also notice a "big" racehorse owner and hotelier from the South East
