I thought that amateur riders were restricted in the number of races for professional jockeys they could ride in??

He surely must be near the limit at this stage! Or is that rule gone?

Twenty rides I think the rule stands at. Suprised he has used so many so early in the year alright.

Could be planning to turn pro when he reaches his limit Grin

townend one of the best,and will go right to the top?..patrick a young lad learning all the time.the ride he gave uncle junior at chelt was top drawer.i remember it well as i laid it!!

A bit like Thierry Doumain when he goes for his horse but at least he knows what a whip is an a finish and there's a lot worse out there imo,wouldn't write the lad off just yet.
