I thought Italian Master was very disappointing but a lot of Paul Nicholls horses seem to need their 1st run of the season and come on plenty for it and it looked pretty testing at Huntingdon.
And the race he ran in was not rubbish, i'd say plenty of winners will come out of the race. Nice to see you're a man of your word and never posting again if somebody posted evidence of what wildman said, oh wait i did post it and you're still here ![]() |

Different mincer altogether, changed man now.It was a rubbish race, the horse in 3rd was a penalised winner of a maiden hurdle at wexford and was sold for a song after winning it.
By:
Usually 'sold for a song' means it was sold for very little ?
By:
well done rowley..thanks for explaining..more bright chaps like you is whats needed around here
By:
I was asking a question, never explained anything.
By:
Can you answer the question ?
By:
Usually 'sold for a song' means it was sold for very little ? ...it means exactly that..what was said that wud make you think different
By:
The fact that it sold for 80k

Its embarrasing, they do it every time.Bobbybocala slags Rowley Mile and then walks into a haymaker and thats the second time.
Mincer i am glad you are back now will you explain to Rocketfingers about my reference to the horse,he thinks it has something to do with an ad for Kerrygold butter. |

Behave yourself Wildclown. Mincer is right. So Many Irish Pointers sold for big money that are absolute rubbish!
By:
It was glorified aftertiming.
By:
Bigwillystyle do you not think Bobbybocala walked into it in Mincer/Robo like fashion,he thought he had a victim and it turned out a predator.
An absolute classic. |
By:
I'm no predator, i won't hold it against bobby either, i heard a very close friend of his hung up his training boots recently and he was very upset about that.
By:
So no more five grand bets and worse still no more tips.
By:
Well, someone else is training the horses he owns so maybe he should up his stake !
By:
You have just lost me.

Winkworth retired but still has a few runners in his colours e.g; the unplaced jolly in the 5:00 kempton this evening. Ironically, he used to train a horse you're very fond of 'safari sunup' |

Thanks.

noble prince after coming from france after costing 150k was well beaten in his first two maiden hurdles.it takes some horses time to acclimatise. and anyways italian master is a real 3 mile chaser in the making.obviously mincer hasnt been to a point or watched these horses winning their points so impressively.

Big money for NH types is chick-feed for these wealthy jumps owners: just look at how much Robert Ogden is spending now he's mainly interested in the flat.
Maybe someone wants to run a (pointless) thread on wasting money on yearling colts? Rather than tell us what you know after the event why not use your own powers of soothsaying to identify the real horses to follow (and less of the schadenfreude)? |

By:
There is no point in arguing with the uninitiated ,whatever I say is going to be taken out of context, people with no brain will put there own slant on it.There are plenty who will know that I am 100 % correct here. You will have the idiot who says a horse wasn't cheap even though he cost a third of the one I referred to,you will have the idiot that says that the horse who won a half a length was actually impressive, and then finally the idiot who says that because the people who buy them have millions, these horses aren't actually dear at all

Probably a bit late now mincer but there's a sale on at Cheltenham this evening with some choice lots from the p2p scene.
Give us your appraisal (value, price, ability) of the significant ones when you have it all considered. Best judge a man on his efforts before the event (when they're not racing). |

^^^^Unlikely to happen before the event
