It must be a slow week
To suggest that you could have picked out Limpopo Tom at Wolverhampton last Saturday night if you had done your homework is certainly stretching it IMO. Clearly the horse was laid out for the race and whether you agree or disagree it the way it was done it was certainly well executed
The form was poor even in the context of the race and to pick out this fella last Saturday with hundreds of runners on the day and 6 Irish trained in the race you deserved to be nominated punter of the year unless you knew of course
The signs were there my A-rse a condescending article imo

yes, a slow week is right, we've hardly anything for Cheltenham at the weekend, (I've backed Quel Esprit at 10's with lads btw, he better bloody get on the boat), and it is the same crop of Grade 2 chasers contesting the Durkan on Sunday, the isn't a lot to say I suppose
 If I was writing it I'd speculate as to how good a horse Quel esprit could be if he could get around, about 20 pounds better than a 140 horse in my estimation. Haven't seen the paper, did he mention anything about remote gambling being brought into the tax net. also, maybe he could query why connections are going back to the well so soon with Pittoni, maybe as soapp said the horses weren't right in the morgiana and Byrnes feels that the horse can do a little better at the more rewarding odds of 11/1, Byrnes is always saying he needs soft, maybe that and the taxing Cheltenham hill can bring him into it, worth a mention in hardly the most intimidatng looking Bula field. That would be what i was looking for if I was the editor anyway |
