Seems our futures and that of our childrens were decided in Seul at the G20 meeting of all the great world leaders .................Geitner of the USA Treasury Dept. decided our future ..........no bondholders to be burnt.......end of story .....taught America was our friend........we gave them shannon didn't we, as their halfway house .......when Chopra+co were coming in here we should have met them at the airport given them our rotten Bankersgiven them our sleeping Regulators and and our stupid corrupt politicians and told them get the hell outta here ........and run our own country and go back to our punt's or link with \sterling ....are we all pet lambs in this country?......can't believe the IMF/ECB kept raising the interest rates until Honohan+co said ok stop, we will take that...is that not corrupt bit like gazumping -- then Cowen said we be in the clear in 3yrs and Chopra says 10 years ...of austerityare we this stupid to accept all this without a word without a whimper ..............

Well Tolmi if you did, as the late Minister Lenihan said ("we All partied Miriam"), some of us didn't you know,.............. I didn't buy a 4x4 nor did I buy the Apt in Bulgaria............ yet I pay now to keep the likes of Ambomovich cozy in his yacht, and pay John Terry's big wages pay John Brutons big pension and he with a big paying job ......................pay alan dukes to shut a bust bank and pay him a huge pension as well........
same old 5hit from all sectors. Single mothers moaning how they don't want allowances cut, politicians like Harney saying they've taken enough cuts.......Society? doesn't exist. Just total selfishness and self service from one and all
You might note that I said as a nation.Whether people individually realise it or not we were all beneficiaries of the economic madness of Ahern Mc Creevy Cowen et al.Even if the banks did not collapse we would still be facing a massive and unsustainable current budget defecit which would still have resulted in a period of austerity.
despite being bankrupt we still have one of the most generous welfare and public sector pay in europe. we are paying 28.50 euro an hour on average to public servants and we have politicians begging german tax payers to keep paying it. you couldn't make it up.
You couldn't make it up as right.......Huge construction wages being paid by lads who walked away owing a fortune.......A builder near me telling local suppliers he can't pay them he is gone into liquidation and facing bankruptcy.........the chap could barely write his name......then bragging in the pub to the local gombeen man that he was that big he is now in NAMA....The new badge of honour.
