Was better choices for an Irish trainer anyway surely?
He's a good trainer but gives bloody nothin away wen asked questions so i cant imagine he will be too forthcoming with much useful information in this column |

Another good thread sabotaged again........best say nothing if you have nothing positive to add.....wildman your probably correct again and no doubt theres lots going on with some stables that some on here are unable to comprehend....in fairness Elliott was open enough with Carlito Brigante tipped him up every chance he got on any of the talk/tv shows as one he gave a great chance to at Cheltenham in March 2011.....and I let him run

Mincer your last post makes sense and you make a fair proposal.I am a non runner today away on family business but agree to your suggestion for a poll,if the forum would like me to go i as a democrat will go.I have given plenty of opinions and in your words alienated many so now is their chance.I won`t make it a contest between you and me because yoiu are not honourable and would just return in another guise.The ball is now in your court organise your poll and i guarantee i will abide by it,i won`t canvass you can if you like.

Davy Russell is a brilliant jockey, perhaps that is why Gigginstown House Stud use him as their retained jockey.On the big occasion he has delivered for them, Weapons Amnesty (Albert Bartlett and RSA at the festival both brilliant rides), First Lieutenant (Neptune at the festival another fine ride), Carlito Brigante (Coral Cup was more of a sterring job).
