Good card tomorrow surprisingly only 7 runners for an 80-109 handicap hurdle SurprisedSurprised...long time since we have seen that in winter ...

Two stand out bet s for me not the most original are Texas Jack in the first and Tranquil Sea in the Morris Oil Chase ...

Texas Jack unbeaten in two starts winning a bumper at the punchestown festival and then i was thought he looked like a real decent animal when pricking his ears and cantering away from the opposition at Punchestown a few weeks back ina maiden hurdle ... went off 11/10 that day so they must think a fair bit of him ... Meade yard flying at the moment ..Evens Paddy Power

I backed Tranquil Sea in the Morris Oil last year primarily because of his really good record fresh and i ll be doing the same tomorrow ... Has won first run of the season now in2008,2009.and 2010 and bids to maintain that record tomorrow . Best horse in the race 11/10 powers ........

At around 3/1 well worth doubling them aswell

Fancy For Bill tomorrow. Think the 3m stretched her a bit the last day at Limerick. She made a mistake turning for home and the jockey wasnt too hard on her after that. Blazing Tempo only ran on Saturday and this might come a bit too soon. Russell is on board Shop DJ after winning on For Bill 3 times previously but Carberry isnt a bad replacement and once he doesnt over exaggerate the waiting tatics I'll take my chances on For Bill. 7/2 not a bad price tonight either! Cool

Agree with you Mick, really fancy Tranquil Sea with the best chase jockey around today up,pity that 11/10 didnt last long.

How do you know Texas jack is best fresh? He has only had two runs so you don't know he is best fresh. You could be right it's not a fact.

Can,t seem to do much right at the moment, but here are my thoughts:

1.25 Sister Steve,
Stayed on from a good way back at Punchestown to be not beaten far, handles the ground, seems the most solid option in a weakish race.
1.55 Irish Soul
Fairly impressive in his last couple of wins, the manner of which suggests he should get the extra 1/2 mile,At around 5,s looks an ew to nothing.
2.55
No bet here, blazing tempo was disappointing on Saturday,For bill made an  early mistake at Listowel and lost it,s confidence a bit, unlucky not to win in the end however.Shop dj solid enough form the other two if anywhere near best should beat him, anyway swerve with that too many ifs and buts.
3.25 River Liane
Small each way here,on the face of it 10lb worse off and a 4l beating by Kakagh last time give it little chance, however hoping it improves for first run in almost a year and had a touch of class over hurdles.

Surprise me,Good luck.

Texas Jack impressive there but showed signs of temperament mid race,Carberry ripping the pi$$ out of Russell on the run in.

Thanks lads ..well done lapsy aswell .....Texas Jack has a fair engine even if he s still a bit green ..... Tranquil did it well enough once he filled his lungs at the top of the hill ...but i don t think he had to beat much ...Physco not the force he was and Tharawat is a bit of a monkey ...

I see Mullins returned 1/2 in the bumper !!!! few fingers must have been burnt ..... i think everyones waiting for willie s to get going .......we saw it last weekend with Paul Nicholls ... was having a quiet time of it then bang 7 winners last saturday !!!!

A marvellous meeting down there with a good crowd to boot in great weather. NH fare at its best.

Punters once again in the asendancy with all winners well backed.

Tranquil Sea looked a picture in the paddock and it was great to see him win the big race as connections were out in force. Celebrations in the winners enclosure were a joy to behold rather than just see an Owner's rep on hand to recieve the prize.

What a race the following race was with Blazing Tempo coming to win the race then getting caught up with the faller and then getting lucky at the last with two coming down when she looked booked for 3rd.

KO2 Its The Ice I Like landed a nice touch. IMO his form was there for all to see LTO. I had reason to watch him in a HURDLE race LTO. He was slow out of the blocks as it was his first hurdle race but as the race continued he got the hang of the hurdles and warmed to his task that he stayed on nicely at the end. Bumpers are not nearly as competitive imo and when the money came I had my tuppence halfpenny on him. The jolly was a big animal but wasn't striding out in the paddock so he will improve for the run.
