Just when we get a little momentum & reason to look forward to the summers again we self destruct.

In that I see nothing wrong-he just acted the Captain & tried to keep the team together so maybe the crux has not been included in the link.

So strang in that it was Jim Mc****ss that convinced him to stay last year.

Checked it out . When players write books before they finish their playing careers it often causes trouble . County boards value themselves highly  , but some of them have very chequered existences .

While few of us appreciated Donegal's style this year , you have to give them credit for creating a great team effort during the summer . Few outside Donegal appreciate the travel etc involved for team panellists in the course of a year  , more coherent counties geographically are in a much better position to start with .

But I suspect there have been a lot of "internals " in Donegal over last few years , hard to keep the lid on the pot if people throw petrol onto the fire . Not the best news of the day for Doegal and GAA afficionados .
