pathfork,what has happened this fellow??

i know he had a wind op after his disappointing effort in the Guineas behind Frankel,and he was pencilled in for the minstrel stakes at the Curragh on the 16th of july,but that never happened,and i havent heard anything about the horse since,anyone know what the story is with him?has he been retired or will we be seeing him again anytime soon?i personally think the Breeders Cup Classic was his for the taking,giving his pedigree and undoubted class,such a shame we dont get to see him prove it
