tough horse may just lack a bit of class though gl

that would be my worry - think he'll get the distance worth an ew punt i think

He's in the Marathon, he'd be in danger of getting lapped in the mile
![]() Didn't O Brien have the winner of the race 2 years ago? Would not surprise me to see it going close |

Good price? I don't think so. He should be double the price he is at least. First time on dirt is enough to put me off. He will stay the trip alright but how you can back a horse when the chances are he will not handle the surface and not be good enough is beyond me.
Same applies to So You Think! He should be 20/1. Mugs who are backing him should not punt. |

money where your mouth is bigwilly - put harrisons up at 40's right now for 100 bucks and ill take it

Why would I do that? When I can lay it at much less. Get a grip.

You said he should be double the price ....courage of your convictions and all that

Why would I lay 40 when I can lay it at much less. That's like saying I fancy a horse at 8/1 which I think should be 5/1 but I won't back him at 8/1 I will wait untill he is cut to 5/1 to back him. Very sensible betting logic

Record of European bred horses on American dirt is very very poor at the Breeders Cup. Europeans won first 2 runnings of the Marathon on pro ride but on dirt I'd prefer to be on one of the Americans (or maybe Brigantin who has a US peidgree)
