Depositing from Irish debit Cards on betfair

Steve I always use norn's bank card to deposit money into my Betfair Account - he's loaded so he doesn't notice!

Yeh Nephrite a lovely fellow norn, he did it well on Sunday and also on his debut the last day in heavy ground at the Curragh. He's a Pivotal so no surprise to see him go well with some give in the ground, but equally he'll do well on better going next season and he'll definitely get a mile.

He's a genuine and straightforward colt norn, simple as that, and if they get some rain over there in Newmarket before the Guineas he might just be the one they all have to beat. Absolutely for sure he'll go well in the Irish Guineas too and you could see him following a similar path to Henrythenavigator beyond that.

I just deposited €20 from an Ulster Bank VISA Debit card with no problems at all

I have had desperate trouble trying to withdraw money to the card before though - I eventually had to get customer services to do it for me

I use Google Chrome

Off tangent here slightly, but just got mail from my bank yeasterday, goes like this:

"From the 1st January 2012, new regulations now mean all Payments Service Providers must ensure that your electronic payments sent to any county within the EEA (includes NI & ROI) are received by the close of business on the next working day".

Am I right in thinking then, that from the 1st January if I make a withdrawal from my Betfair/Online bookies accounts I can expect payment to my account by say 4.30pm the next working day, rather than the 3 it takes at present?

Has anybody found this supposed new legislation from January 1st to be working? Made a withdrawal on Tuesday from my PP account and still hasn't reached my bank yet!

betfair withdrawls 3 days for me
laddies 2 days

withdrew from both last tuesday, laddies money in my acc thurs, betfair friday.

PP money, arrived 4pm, Newmanix, so still same by the looks of it, 2-3 days. Joke really when our own money arrives straight into their accounts.
