1.10 Cash And Go is by 6-time group 1 winner Sulamani and is a half brother to grade 1 winning hurdler Catch Me, also trained by Eddie O’Grady. He won on his first ever run in February in a 2m Thurles bumper on heavy by 7 lengths and 2nd and 4th both boosted form by winning next time out. He put in a fair display to finish 4th in a listed Limerick bumper next time, which was won easily by Waaheb who was narrowly beaten in the grade 1 champion bumper at Punchestown. He put in another solid effort in 3rd in a 2m bumper at the Fairyhouse National meeting, beaten 5 lengths by Reizovic. I expect him to improve now switched over hurdles and O’Grady’s hurdlers have been in good form.

1.40 Fourth Class has shown good form in 2 runs over hurdles and can go close in this. He was a good 3rd in a Clonmel bumper on soft over 2m. He disappointed on his first start over hurdles but improved markedly for the experience to finish a good 4th in a 2m Navan maiden hurdle on heavy in February, beaten 9 lengths by Gift Of Dgab who was a good 2nd in a Limerick hurdle next time. The 2nd won next time out, the 3rd put in a fair run in a grade 2 and the 5th won his maiden hurdle 2 runs later. He put in another good run on his latest start when 3rd in a 2m4f Gowran maiden hurdle on yielding, fading late on over the longer trip, but only beaten 5 lengths by the winner who was a fair 4th in a novice hurdle next time and only a neck behind the 2nd who ran well in a bumper next time and won his maiden hurdle by 8 lengths 2 runs later.  Fourth Class ran well first time out last season and I think 2m2f on soft is ideal for him.

2.40 Best Served Cold won 2 of his 4 runs in 3m p2p’s and he ran well in a bumper on first start this season, finishing 5th over 2m4f at Tipp, form boost by 3rd and 6th both finishing 2nd next time and 4th winning a bumper on next start. He made his debut over hurdles last time and he stayed on well to win a good quality 2m4f Galway novice hurdle on heavy, in which he was well backed from 14s into 8s. Soft ground will suit and the step up to 3m shouldn’t be a problem considering he’s a half brother to Northumberland Plate winner Mirjan. Michael Hourigan has won with 5 of his 11 runners at Wexford in past 5 seasons and Best Served Cold is his only runner here today.
