Also thought Danny Mullins never put Marley Park into the race on its chase debut at Thurles last week , won by Rivage D Or .....so if he s come on from that , he s a excellent record on heavy ground and should go close in the beginners chase 3.25 . The favourite Far Away So Close didn t impress with its jumping at Limerick either

Diamond Harry will do well with that Jockey on board to win. He got one horse beat today...I not sure how he managed it but he did. Carlito Brigante could be another Tharaawat...improve for a summer on his back. 5.3 is very good price. CAn't forget that Coral performance was devestating to the eye.

Like the sound of these today (care of shanto):
1.45 Lyreen Legend has the pedigree to develop into a nice hurdler. He is by Saint Des Saints who won 4 graded hurdles in France and was 2nd in a grade 1 (suited by soft or heavy ground), and he is a half brother to Kings Daughter, who was a grade 3 hurdle winner in France (all his wins on very soft or heavy). Lyreen Legend was never really put into the race on debut when held up in rear and making some late headway to finish 9th of 25 over this CD on yielding in a maiden hurdle in March. His only other run was in a 50K bumper at the Fairyhouse national meeting on good ground, where he attempted to make all but came under pressure 2 furlongs out and had no more to give when 4th passing the furlong pole. Both runs showed promise and he should be suited by the soft ground today. Dessie Hughes won this race last year. Race is worth watching anyway as in the last 8years it has been won by the likes of Feathard Lady, Catch Me and Donnas Palm. 2.50 Our Girl Salley scoped badly prior to the 2011 Cheltenham Festival and as a result missed it. She then went to the Fairyhouse National meeting where she disappointed, finishing a poor 6th in a 2m4f grade 2 novice hurdle on good ground. She drifted badly that day and clearly didn’t look over whatever had been ailing her, also the faster ground probably would not have suited. All 6 of her wins have come on soft or heavy ground and she’s 3 from 3 over hurdles on soft/heavy ground. She was an impressive 10 length winner of a 2m4f Navan novice hurdle on soft on her season debut last season, after a similar layoff, so she should have no problem going well first time out this season. It’s a pity Barry Geraghty can’t ride her today but Katie Walsh has won on her twice before and she receives a good bit of weight from Fully funded and Canaly. 4.00 Bale O’Shea is high enough in the weights but he does go particularly well here at Naas. He’s won the other handicap hurdle on this card for the past 2 years and this and Navan are his two favourite tracks, his record at the pair of them in handicap hurdles on soft is 3 wins and 2 seconds from 5 runs. He has won first time out for past 2 seasons and clearly goes well fresh. His last win was in a 2m4f Navan handicap hurdle by 11 lengths on soft off 107 under Andrew Lynch who rides again today. He was raised 12lbs for the win and couldn’t land a blow in a competitive handicap hurdle at the Leop Christmas meeting off 119 on his last start. He's dropped to 118 and though still plenty high enough, the combination of returning to Naas and being freshened up, could see him go close. Michael O’Hare has won this race for past 2 years (with different horses) too. 5.00 Gold Ability has put in 2 good runs and should go well in this bumper. He was 2nd to the useful Reizovic on his racecourse debut at the Fairyhouse National meeting. He ran in another decent quality bumper on next start, at the Punchestown Festival, finishing 6th of 24, only 3 lengths behind 4th Morning Ireland, a subsequent winner over hurdles. Gold Ability is a nicely bred sort, by Old Vic and a half brother to grade 2 winner See U Bob and multiple winner Glencree. This bumper isn’t as high quality as his previous 2 runs and Michael O’Hare’s 2 runners in this in past 10 years finished 1st in 2009 and 3rd last year, when ridden by Katie Walsh who is on Gold Ability today. |

Impressed by the way Benefficient quickened up to win his Maiden at Bandon and looked like he could be a very nice horse at 2 1/2m on the track, disappointed that he's gone to Tony Martin as Lord knows what he'll be playing at with him but has the potential to be a 130-140 type horse and will only get better with time.
No benefit from stopping one in a Bumper so at 17/2 he'll do for me. |

Some great posts and previews already in this thread
,1.45 Akatara E/W,small price but even at 3/1 won't lose much if placed and has some good runs in the book and trip ground to suit. 3.25 Marlay Park E/W a bit similar to above re trip and ground and young Mullins might give the reins a shake today. 4.00 Sweet My Lord E/W ,went well fresh about this time last year and the way he travels means you should be able to trade out at worst in this race. |

There was a fortune lost at tiny odds in running in that opener on the fav with the winner matched at huge odds. |
