The ground at Punchestown ahead of tomorrow’s all jump meeting is currently unfit for racing, having been hit with 22mm of rain yesterday. There will be a further inspection at 4pm this evening to access prospects for racing tomorrow.
Meanwhile, the ground at Leopardstown is currently heavy after 72mm of rain fell yesterday.

If that goes ahead tomorrow it will be a bloody miracle, then again they'd race on just about any ground in Ireland.
Prepare for some exhaustive finishes.

Going to take some amount of getting tomorrow. In the 3.20 think Ten Fires must have a massive chance on the going and he has won over further so should be staying on when others have cried enough. Hayes taking off 7lbs is a big help and at 7/1 he looks decent value to me.

Very Surprised if it isn't on. Sun all day today in Kildare, rain in the morning might make it easier to get thru as you don't want really sunny morning and make the ground into a gluepot. Give me proper heavy any day

Ruby, it rained constantly in Kildare all morning it might have disappeared for the afternoon but wasn't exactly sahara like sunshine and considering the rain that fell the previous few days if it goes ahead it will be like a glue pot.

Any idea on whether Thurles schooling races go ahead on Friday? Willie Mullins always likes to run a fair few here I think. More than likely Ruby will be there along with all the other top jocks. In all honesty it would make financial sense to do so. 50e a time!

Was offered thru work 4 tickets the other day for the Punchestown meeting 19/20 November, think it is for the saturday. Too near xmas for me but if anyone wants these post a reply here & I'll contact the guy to see if he has them & I'll PM whoever is interested for their address & i'll mail to you. I know Workrider & the like go racing frequently, so it'll save the entrance fee anyway.
