Dana will pick up a few sympathizers , even money looks good?

I couldn't call it either way and not exactly a market i'd want to be investing in.

Dana looks a fair bet here-she did somehow get almost 14% of 1st preferences in 1997-if she even kept half of that it might be enough.

Dana gets no love in the Dublin media but her demographic will turn out on the day.

PP probably has it about right.

Anyway, I can't figure out who's going to win, let alone who's going to finish 6th and 7th.

People are afraid to say they would vote for Dana for fear of ridicule,this fear is enhanced by the media who in typical liberal fashion are intolerant of non liberal views.
There was a very witty post about the perforated tyre episode when a poster talking about someone he didn`t like stated "When The Jackal is finished with Dana could he turn his attention to" i am sorry i cant remember who to give the credit to for this hilarious remark.

You are entitled to vote for whichever of the candidates as you wish, that is your right. Why would people give a toss what others think of who they voted for?

As for me i probably won't vote as i think every one of the candidates are clowns and i could probably use the 15-20 minutes it will take me vote more constructivly.

I do realise you really should use your vote but as i've said before i don't believe the president serves any purpose and i don't see what difference any of those clowns are going to make to the country.

R.T.E and the print media have a liberal agenda,thats why although this is a consevative country and vote accordingly no one admits to it.

Think Dana is slightly ahead from what bits i've heard, usually 3% to 2%
Bit then again i've been flicking back and forward with the racing and golf all day so probably missed quite a bit

Thanks. Just looking at RTE now, think the banner on the bottom means it's 3.1% Davis vs 2.5% Dana with 7 constituencies of 43 returned. Not sure of the geography involved, but looks very tight alright.

Backed Davis least No 1s with Lads.

think ladies were going 1/3 dana, 9/4 davis to finish bottom overall. Going by other betting that looked a good price Davis in what looked a match bet.
