having travelled well and been brought to a challenging position, sean gallagher found little for pressure and was said to finish distressed whilst it was reported he was clinically abnormal post race. mickey d, who was diputing at the time ultimately stayed on well and won eased down towards the finish. dana was said to be green and in need of the experience, despite running for the 3rd time

Every reason to vote for Gallagher as he is the best candidate. The people on this forum think they are fighting back against Fianna Fail's few years of mis leadership by not voting for Gallagher - unfortunetely the rest of the electorate are that stupid.
Gallagher is a leader, a motivator, an inspriration and an entrepreneur. McGuinness quoting a gun smuggler is hardly going to change people's opinion. The only mistake made by Gallagher was his poor choice of word in "envelope" - that was unfortunate. Hopefully though, he can correct that error in the morning and clarify the situation. |

i thought gallagher was a good candidate until tonight. i thought his involvement in fianna fail was limited and apart from that, he would have been very suitable. however he has shown he has as colourful a past as most when he stuttered his way past questions about donations etc etc. if he was innocent surely he could answer clearly and concisely about his so called accounts error. he had no answer and looked shambolic

She came with a flourish tonight Reve! 'Shoulder to shoulder', 'build bridges and move on', 'I'm from Derry aswell' and 'family dispute'- hardly the first time I heard that from her! I was disappointed that I didnt here her say constitution, I know some lads that had their very own drinking game for tonight.. everytime she said the word they would have to take a sup!
I agree with you on Gallagher, he had all the credentials to see him through, he was in pole position coming into tonight but McGuinness choked him. I knew something would unfold and as you said he couldn't answer clearly which looked shambolic, poor fella left shell shocked.! However I'll still give him my vote. |
