i 've decided to never have a bet on them again...i thought over the years they were a good betting medium ....but in recent years i've found this not to be the case..anyone else have an opinion on this....

the old saying back top weights in nurserys,but your right very hard to get an angle on theses races,very rarely back in them

i find the ground makes a huge differance to determine the chances of the top weight theory in these races(last weeks birdcather at naas a case in point-8.4 was the weight in yielding ground)

as you say triumphoragony the ground is a massive factor ....plus i've noticed some of the fields are huge ....trainers seem to be focusing their youngsters more and more on these races . especially up in the north of england....

think just for joe in the 4 galway is a great bet at 5/2 only laganbank to beat and hes getting 6lb

thought everything went right for laganbank at listowel they went too quick up front and he picked them off up the straight

plus he might need further .so yeah if you fancy joe to beat it ..worth a few quid..good luck with that....
