"Its a pity that Paul Townend who rides and schools him, couldnt ride and I think he'd have won easier if he had as Ruby got there a bit soon"

I had to laugh when I read that comment. It showed Ruby there at his brilliant best. I don't think anyone else would have got this one home. Davy's style in the saddle was really shown up there. Not a patch on ruby in a finish imo.

Davy's style was shown up? Davy is a brilliant jockey, not his fault the horse didn't jump as well as they would of hoped and was probably nowhere near 100%.

I think change the jockeys and you'd have got the same result

Don't think Townend would have won on De Valira. By the sounds of things, Id say Ruby was the one who came in and said that he got there too soon.

Davy is the best jockey riding in ireland at the minute imo.

James Morrissey comments were tongue in cheek.

Did anyone see Ted Walsh saying to him that he rides with one leg longer than the other, Davy said as much as he tries he can't rectify it.

Most jockeys ride that way,its called acey deucey.

Oh right, Davey seemed a bit put out by it being highlighted on the telly. I presume it makes no difference.

except it might make one look a bit more untidy.
