Meister Eckhart could not have been more impressive last time out in Sligo - i put him up in the horses to follow thread but i think this animal is going places.
I heard nina telling charlie swan in the unsaddling ring that this horse travelled really well and that it had another speed level if she needed it (not verbatim , but along them lines)

as i posted on another thread felt black benny was way over priced for the novice hurdle in cork ........had a good bet each way on him  6 s ......100/30 now although there will be a rule 4 with the withdrawl of saint gervais .....also had a good bet on birds eye view in the second race at naas ....missed the early 11/4 backed him at 9/4 .....still think this is a good price ( he s gone shorter now ) .....There was a maaive on course punt on this fella first time out in a decent maiden at the cuuragh recently 20 s to 5 s ......absolutely fell out of the stalls , then very green during the race and flew home to finish third ballydoyles nephritie that popped out of the stalls and made all .....Looked a surefire winner next time out on that evidence ....yard had a very easy winner yesterday with sikara ..good luck to all

couple of real eyecatchers in that maiden hurdle .....Byrnes Giggenstown one ...clattered the last two hurdles , probably wasn t that busy and the one that i really took out of the race is Paul Nolan s King Vezuvala ...... jumped really well first time over hurdles and was well minded by alan cawley .... all of nolans seem to be needing a run .... was very impressed the way this fella one his bumper in Punchestown in may and think he s one to follow this winter

i think the first 3 are good horses wouldn t loose faith on black benny ....think as his jumping improves and he s  upped to 2m 4 f he ll do well over the winter ......main thing though is barry connell needs to i think use the services of a top jock in future .....

Just back from dalymount and the celebrations that followed (despite the poor match). Meister Eckhart won but was not as impressive as i had hoped.
Will need to improve to go to the heights i had expected.

There was a great crowd down in Naas yesterday and the style was out in force.
1) Punters won out on the day with 7 of the 8 winners well backed

2) It was noticeable that the stand side was a lot quicker. McDonagh and Smullen had their heads screwed on as they came widest of all on their respective winners.

3) A nice moment was after the Conditions Hurdle in the Winners enclosure with Geraghty and his new kid being snapped by Pat Healy.
