the other day. I heard half a story. All i know is some of the big shops  rented a room in a hotel and put machines in them (FOBT's) and switched them on. Now who was invited to see these? I presume the justice minister and the chief of police and some TD's .But.. Who was there?

Did your info come from a reliable source ? What was the name of the Hotel ?

There are a lot of half-stories on Betfair.

Ladbrokes report a 20% rise in profit from their machines,
but over the counter down by 3.5%
Wouldn't blame em for not wanting them in shops.
Though I personally detest them.

She owned a shop in Newbridge. Very difficult to get any sort of a decent bet on though. Taken over by Barney O Hare now. Dont think she's a bookmaker anymore.
