UEFA marked the Irish and Estonia balls because they were terrified if Ireland got anyone else bar Estonia the whole nation would be screaming the draw was fixed so they fixed it for Ireland instead.

Now I know feck all about soccer but take given and dunne out of the irish team and it would be touch and go between Ireland and Shamrock Rovers to win the league of ireland ( sorry workrider ) ..How he can leave talented irishmen like seamus coleman at home and pick garden knomes like glen whelan is beyond me ........ dinglemick,Trapp won't go the games to watch "new" talent coming through,he has fixed ideas about players and will never ever think of a change,as I said on another thread Whelan would have to be either hospitalised or suspended for Trapp to drop him.
Kevin Kilbane has been a great player for us but should be retired from the National squad and has no business being in the starting 11 which he would be in only for injury.
In Trapps mind Coleman is a right back and he doesn't have a spot for one of those.
Wes Houlihan remids Trapp of Andy Reid so he'll never get a call

Yes you could not ask for a better draw. We got the draw we wanted and Estonia are saying same. We were probably given Estonia just to make up for the Hand of Henry in Paris. A fella at work was saying this all f**king day yesterday ''they'll give us the Estonians just to make up for it'', 11/4 he got on it.

If we can't beat Estonia we don't deserve to be there. I think we'll win and go thru in front our our own fans in the Aviva. I am going to go with that this will be the best sporting atmosphere ever seen in Ireland as the Aviva is a proper cauldron of a stadium and seems to hold all the noise is which is quite impressive.

The stadium will be over half full of "supporters" that have not turned up at any of the qualifiers, but will jump on the bandwagon now.

There was a great atmosphere there the last night, and there was 45,000 fans at it, so if you hang on to your ticket you're guaranteed a ticket for the Estonia match. So that will ensure against that thankfully
Good to see the FAI looking after the hardcore first !
