I backed Isobella Blue in Roscommon a few weeks ago and finished second. I saw yesterdayit has since been promoted and Whither Hills place second which should have happened on the day. I had quite a chunky bet on. Do I have any case? I presume I don't.

I am afraid you don`t,the Roscommon stewards were wrong and you were robbed. Some on course bookies now paying double result and i am convinced they have some influence, thats why you see so few disqualifications in Ireland.

If people lost money in any other walk of life because of incompetence in this case Turf Club employees you'd be entitled to a legal challenge to recover your losses.
I suppose technically the Turf Club are liable even if gambling depths are not recoverable by law, I wonder are you entitled to a legal challenge?, ok most people wouldn't be bothered about claiming for small losses but if someone lost substantial money because of their incompetence and challenged them in court it would make for an interesting outcome??.
