Some achievement...the last man to do it was John Barry in 1983.

Cracking effort - John Mathias rode 6 out of 7 at a Welsh point to pont last season too.

A remarkable feat from the man! The ride he gave Character Building to win the Kim Muir a few years ago was masterclass!

Is the Welsh point to point rider John Mathias anything to the John Matthias who used to ride for Ian Balding in the eighties?

Jamie has reportedly broken his femur in a fall in Kilsheelan today.

Talk about the highs and lows after last Sunday. He got a pretty bad injury at the Punchestown festival too earlier in the year.

Sorry only just seen this Wildman - not sure but he's a good jockey in the area, not a popular name though so imagine it might be his son.

Gutted for Codd - particularly after last week and hopefully he'll be back soon enough though broken femur is a very bad injury.

Ah ****!, Best Wishes to Jamie. As you said highs and lows- the life of a jockey.

Similar injury to Cathy Gannon who broke her's last week. Mind you at least cathy's was at the end of the season wheras poor Jamie's is at the start of the season.

That is the reason i feel a jockey should never be banned ever as the ground will do it anyway.
