alaways a racecourse this time of year and a meeting over recent years that throws up a few ballydoyle gambles ......looking at the last 3 maidens on the card they have had a good record in recent times ......the 4.05 fillies maiden they won last year , the 4.35 1mile colts maiden they have won 3 times in the last 5 years and the final race the 5.35 1mile 2 f they have won the last 3 years in a row !!!!!!!.........
Problem usually is picking which one as in the past the bigger priced ones have got backed !!... although they have only one runner in the last which looks a hot enough maiden .....The 4.35 1 mile colts maiden looks like like a real head scratcher with 3 well bred newcomers with fancy entries warwick avenue , tower rock and hail .......Market once again will dictate i suppose .....

Silver Shuffle in the 5.05  is a good E/W bet, trip and ground should be ok and should benefit from the stronger handling today as he's been running in Amateur races the last couple of runs.

Maal 5.05 16/1 ew only bet on the horses today

Thought Maal was overpriced at 16/1 in the 5.05 - eyecatcher last time i thought and worth a few shillings ew - ground will suit, trip is fine
Nothing travelled better through the race lto at Fairyhouse than this one, travelling very sweetly on the rail - got snatched up once or twice turning in when going for a run and got shuffled back to last and still going well
Race was over by the time he got a run but stayed on very nicely into a quiet 4th under a bare hands and heels ride

Has won off higher marks than todays and Sam James takes 5lbs off - very surprised the price is so generous

Kissed quickened well off a good gallop and considering the ground that was a promising debut, the "boys" got sorted out yet again here.

There was plenty to like about the performance of the Aidan O’Brien trained Kissed which made a winning debut in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden at Navan today.
Ridden by the trainer’s son Joseph, the daughter of Galileo got the better of runner-up Violet Lashes inside the final furlong, to eventually win going away.

Afterwards the winning jockey said “I was a always happy with where I was in the race and she is a very nice filly.
It’s very testing conditions out there and there should be plenty of improvement in her from here.”

Kissable looked a decent fily allright .....money spoke again being backed from 3 s this morning to 6/4 ...............I  give Leroy Parker a big each way shout in the next at 6/1 ......think he still has a bit in hand off 72 ......won at sligo the last day on  soft , noel meade quoted afterwards saying he needs soft ground which he ll get today ..... he also withdrew him the last day at gowran when he felt ground wasnt soft enough ....

leroy never seemed to be travelling coming from a good bit back .....switched back inside coming up the hill also ....would have preferred to see him stay up the outside where all the winners have been coming from ..... got placed anyway .... still think there will be another handicap in him before the flat season is out .... and being from the noel meade yard might see him in a 3 year old hurdle also .......

you would imagine the oxx colt tugboat and the ballydoyle one inner realm would have more improvement in them despite being behind  smithfield  the curragh the last day  last ...the ballydoyle one got an educated ride that day also and ballydoyle have won this race the last 3 years ....sunset stanza didn t look in love with the ground at listowel the last they so its hard to see how he ll like it today ..... I m backing tugboat in the end ....has a better draw than inner realm and should show enough improvement to win
