The European Union dominated by Germany and France have heaped all the bank debt on Ireland,this is grossly unfair.All the candidates are Europhiles with the honourable exception of Dana and that is why she deserves our vote.

If you had to award a winner in that debate it would surely have to be McGuinness. I'm no fan of his but what debate were you watching lads.

Dunno what to make of that dung TV3 hosted tonight. Absolute rubbish. For starters VB has not a clue what a debate is.

I know wildman it is unfair, Dana as president thinks she can somehow change this. Im not sure if you know about the role of the president, but she has more chance of influencing change on this than you or i.

martin mcguinness came across the best , david norris and michael d done well , gay mitchell is a total joke

Yourlack..You and i know she has no chance of winning so the powers are irrelevant,she is just making a political statement.I actually enjoyed the debate and thought they didn`t do badly but that probably says more about me than anything else.

the only one of that motley crew i could see as president is mickey higgins. he was too much of a gentleman to speek over the rest, like they were doing to him!

dana sh1ts on about constitution this and constitution that and states how shes going to change things that the president cant. i think shes thoroughly clueless and shouldnt bother even going for it. she went before and didnt get it,whats changed?

when i heard sean gallagher was entering the race i wasnt keen at all and im still undecided, but the more i se of him, the more i like.

mary davis is ok too i think, she conducts herself well like michael higgins but she got grilled last night.

i thought david norris did well last night, until the end when he was asked about the letters. he had no answer and i thought he dealt with it badly!

i dont know what to think of gay, i dont mind what he says about martin mcguinness because i hate mcguinness. i dont think it does gays campaign too much good though and while id expect him to have his fair shre of support, i think he will struggle to win the race.

michael d is a scholar as he says himself, he has no scandalous background like most of the rest, hes well spoken and seems a genuinely nice person. i think the fact that vincent didnt allow him his time yest meant he hadnt the opportunity to acquit himself as well as possible, but i wouldnt hold that against him! he wot have half wit muppets talking over him if / when he becomes president!
