I thought the thread title was about Brian O'Connor talking to himself on IRISHRACING.COM Blog.
Yeh Workrider sounds like a decent working class fella with no airs and graces but for some reason he often comes in for some nasty flac?. |

Workrider who is very popular in England, jesus almighty wildman take a lie down for a while. The reason people give up posting on any thread you are on wildman is that you come out with the same deluded stuff all of the time, and you will always and i mean always have to have the last word no matter how long the rally is,you will always have to finish it.So couple that with arguing with somebody who will never admit to being wrong, and gives out the same old acolytes and listeners routine every time, then you may see why there isnt a cue to engage you.Now your good friend Inspector Wonks is about as popular as the most dangerous form of gonorrhoea, the Rovers routine is getting a bit tiresome now,and his personal details should never be displayed as openly as he does.Check to see how many replies he has to threads he starts, then you will see the level of popularity he does actually have

toby you have ruined this forum with your constant aftertiming. It has now reached the point where you are even aftertiming the posts of others by not even adding your own content, merely vomiting up a succession of symbols that resemble a dunce's hat, something with which you are no doubt familiar.
|

I took your advice Mincer/Robo and checked the replies to some Workrider threads.
Life from another viewpoint 81 replies. Rovers v Bray 63 replies. A truly magnificent night 19 replies. Any bookies on here going to Fontwell. 86 replies. So that debunks your theory but you should have known this as you have replied to them all, mostly monosyllabic ones.Workriders thread on the racing forum is full of complimentary posts marred only by your contributions but his many friends rallied round and put you in your place. Your other point about the last word is applicable to you as evinced by the Viewpoint thread. When you say cue i presume you mean queue again you are wrong plenty on here prepared to discuss without resorting to insults.Despite your Trinity education and your relative youth you are incapable of winning any argument mostly through lack of knowledge and hence it normally takes about four words before the name calling starts. You do have one skill in that you have patented the cross sniping posts but you lapse while doing so and like the dog playing poker you wag your tail. |

Dark Rosa used to be going on about people being scared and frightened as well on here ! |

What utter childish garbage from the original poster. Why is it always either of the two forum fools, i.e. workrider or rocketfingers, that are at the heart of all this rubbish.

your bang on wildman, workrider a gentleman and a great judge when it coming to marking your card when you see him at the races.

If you want to see the high regard the Racing forum have for Workrider read the Fontwell thread, poster after poster coming on wishing him well.Even Watchit who is an old adversery of Workriders joined in not only wishing Workrider well but wishing Shamrock Rovers luck in their White Hart Lane battle. It sickened me then when the two Irish posters swooped in tandem insulting Workrider and shocking the decent people on the racing forum but they rallied round and told Dave and Mincer/Robo where to go.Their main insult is he is on the dole, not true of course, but even were it so why they would think that is a reason to slag somebody is a mystery, lots of Irish unemployed through no fault of their own.
Reimerpysatnaf...Why dont you just ignore my posts,i will again draw your attention to a poster called Reluctant who created a thread called P.E. i could make neither head nor tail of it so i just stopped reading it.i never felt the need to post insults on it saying it was rubbish. |
|
By:
Wildman when you come on making statements about us on this forum why should i not come on to defend myself. You say we are frightened as we don't get involved in these arguements so i corrected you in my post and told you why the vast majority don't get involved.
As for what has been said about Workrider on here in the past i don't agree with it. However i know Workrider 'in real life' and think he is sound and i know he can fight his own battles on here and i don't see the need for be to get bogged down in fights. |

Fair comment.

Agree with someone above, absolutely peurile childish post.
So called workrider has always came across to me as an obnoxious waster. To say one or two has it in for him is ridiculous, at a conserative estimate I'd say at least 40-50 different posters have called him such over the last coup;e of years alone on here. They can't all be wrong. It takes some doing for a supposedly grown man but he has the "achievement" of actually been banned for his behaviour towards other posters on here and is without doubt the reason a lot of normal reasonable people don't post on here. Now that says it all. |
|
By:
I think i have flushed out some of the Grandees.
|
|
By:
For Gods sake grow up man. I couldn't give a damn either way, I am just expressing my honest opinion.
An opinion which would be similar to that expressed by absolutely countless numbers of what came across as reasonable posters on here and shared by forumn moderators. 40 to 50 different posters is not an exaggeration by a long way, its actually a conservative figure off the top of my head. |
|
By:
You obviously dont like Workrider but you wrongly assume that loads agree with you, also you do a fair bit of name calling, tool seems to be your favourite, childish and peurile{sic]also, are you incapable of having a civil argument.

By:
Waysidewill is 100% correct of course he is.Wildman's fanciful notion that it is just a handful of posters that have it in for Inspector Wonks is a million miles off the mark. When half a dozen posters are giving him stick, wildy tries to pretend that it is just one poster involved rather than numerous individuals.Attempting to give the poor guy cult status with his "workrider is very popular in England" comment, that really is a classic.Just one question wildy, you seem to be great friends with wonks, how many times have ye met in real life ?
|
|
By:
widmug is a poor excuse for a man trying to stir poop around d place. a sad little individual
|
|
By:
Workrider wears his heart on his sleeve here and I don't see any harm in that and he's a positive on this forum.
mincer.waysidewill and the rest of stirrers, you guys are fooking this place up and why must be the question?,the only answer I can think of is that horse racing is not your No.1 interest or you wouldn't trash the place like you do. When allowed to function (and with the real racing about to kick in0 this place can be a treasure trove of info. |
|
By:
Wayside wouldn't be 100% correct. From what I've seen the number of different posters who have found reason to call workrider terms such as sad, idiot, fool and a lot worse would be easily well over a hundred.
![]() Of course they are all wrong an the OP must be right. Don't know about heart on his sleeve but he does give out a lot of personal info and we do know from this that he has at least two sons and some friends of theirs who are also Betfair account holders. Always worth keeping this in mind when his "supporters" pop up to defend him. |
|

------------- I'm taking that as being directed at me as you've quoted me and posted directly below mine,I've never met the guy and as for the fact that he's revealed some "personal info" Jesus Christ- "and we do know from this that he has at least two sons and some friends of theirs who are also Betfair account holders" so have I and they do as well (like I'd say half of us here have as well),I've said my piece on the hopeful continuity of this forum. |

THE WONDERFUL THING ABOUT "sorry i was shouting at someone else " those 3 posters ...wayside ,daradasi, dave,is their arriving in unison ...if you check back over their old posts you'll find they appear frequently in trios ....dardasi dave wayside , all the same person....as punchestown correctly says its time to grow up lads ...or if that dont suit ...dont bother coming on here ..surely i'm not THAT IMPORTANT TO YE ....

Bit gay this thread

|
By:
Silly thread - Workrider is well respected by all on here and the racing forum as others have pointed out, plenty will disagree with his opinions but he makes them without resorting to insults.
There's something for everyone on here - horse racing, GAA, LOI, coursing etc. and that's the way it should be. Hopefully things will be back to "normal" soon enough - just good old fashioned discussion, anyone for Tramore tomorrow? |

All i can say is read the Any bookie on here going to Fontwell thread on the racing forum,if ye can`t see who the wrong uns are there i give up.
Waysidewill...I would say you are on your second or third name here so talk about Workrider being banned seems disengenuous. Mincer...No i have never met Workrider, should that make a difference.I have tried to deal with your never wrong theory by bringing up The Fitness of Ruby Walsh thread.I hope you will have noticed that i always try to answer your questions whereas you evade mine. I would like one final wager that all the posters on Workriders side are genuine punters and the ones against don`t back horses at all. |
