11 heroes from the bitored - i know shams fans are now saying they are happy to be out of the cup but if you saw the faces on the players and management coming off the pitch , they look like a team in crisis.

But they have easy matches left and will probably still win the league. Please give us a home cup semi-final against anybody.

Looks like doyle(top-scorer) and mcguinness(by far our player of the season) picked up bad injuries and were both in hospital after the match last night.

Giant Strides..........looks like Workrider took the other 2 Shamrock Rovers lads and Rocketfingers with him on holidays. It was probably a good week for them to bail out of the capital.....the city is awash with blue.

Superb result last night, we were by far the better team again and really should have won by more than a goal. We played all the football. Very good crowd for what was the worst of weather and a monday night.

Jeez lads some of us have to work for a living! Sligored, thought Davoren was best player on the pitch myself and deserved Russell's MOTM award. Very impressed with him whenever I've seen him this season.

Sligored and Rocket of course, apols! Giant, I was gonna cut my four hour sleep this morning to three and a half just so I could post to make you happy but decided against it.

dav is a very good player going forward but can be caught defensively - ye were well on top for the first 15 minutesand kilduff is a real handful in the air but was not able to link up with sheppard or your midfield . Was a great atmosphere and live football under the floodlights is hard to beat .
Have been to old trafford and the aviva for ireland games and i would think value for moneywise last nights game was streets ahead

Agree. Obv don't know the guy but some people(adults) were receiving schoolboy tickets back after paying in adult price. Hope he handed over the full divvy at the end!

Some people or one person MJK? I heard a guy on your forum was on about it alright. What's up with Gary McCabe MJK? He should be playing better than he is MJK i rate him very highly, he's a bit of a handful off the pitch maybe but the lad as buckets of football in him.

you deserved the win lads, great crowd, god taught brush was going to level in injury time, you will be hard to beat in the semi if you get a home tie, biggest game of the season for us now come sunday,

Fair enough MJK. Respect for making the trip on a workday.
Bad few days for you though. That Dublin win must have hurt. As GANT says, the jacks are back in town. Bad news for the LOI.
Maybe you should rebrand yourself as a Wicklow club! Silly

Rocket, he's been awful imop this season bar the Belgrade goal. Another player who's a lot better playing against Rovers than for Rovers. I heard a few people mention re tickets. It may well have been just a case of running out've adult ones of course, but after last season's scenario when the official gate was a few hundred less than what was actually there people can get paranoid! Giant, I see the GAA as an irrelevance these days 2bh, just all the bunting etc gets annoying. The fact that thousands of fans claim to be Dublin fans yet never set foot in Parnell Pk says all there needs to be about De Dubs. The Irish rugby team's performance took most people's attention at the weekend anyway so it wasn't all bad.
