mcgeedy 10 times worse, yes 10 times!

Didn't see the game so can't comment on it, but in general Duff stopped being the player who went passed others after Mourinho got hold of him.

You don't see too many games so MJK.

Just an opinion on what I have seen, when's the last time you've seen Duff get the ball and go round a player instead of going inside and laying it off?

Still has something to offer imo,you have to take on board his age and injuries suffered etc.

Punch agree re age etc and I'd never fault him for effort. In reality he should be playing behind the front and not out wide.

He played well enough in the 2nd half today.

Duff finished years ago.  Another poor effort from him.  His right foot is only for standing on.  Also, the person to make the comment regarding McGeady knows very little about football

hes muck!! fooks  about doing ridiculous 'tricks' in his own half, which normally results in him losing the ball!!

constantly over runs the ball and is incredibly lazy,and rarely hits the target let alone scores when takes a shot!

his performance against slovakia was the worst ive ever seen in an ireland shirt, never ran an inch and contributed nothing whatsoever to the game!!

stephen hunt did more in 8mins than mcgeedy!!

McGeady should not have played against Slovakia due to not playing much club football in the last 2 months due to an ankle injury.  He was 70% fit.

Is it the fact that McGEADY is Glaswegian and not a Dubliner that u have taken a dislike to him??

You don't half see some shyte written on these boards. Duff is washed up because he's no longer the best left footed wide player in the world. He's only human and is entitled to the odd bad match. His ability to get out of tight situations and to keep hold of possession is still very good and he draws defenders to him because of this.

Duff isn't anywhere near as quick as he was, he can't take players on down the outside any more and has to cut in all the time these days, that said, he does generally use the ball intelligently.

Duff has been around along time, still getting a full game in the Prem too says enough about his worth.

Better news is there is a guy on loan at Hull city from Man utd called Robbie Brady. A very quick strong winger with a powerful shot from any range. I have a feeling he will be a household name and a name 1st on the Ireland team sheet for years to come. If Ireland can get into the Euros he is definitely worth giving a cap or two in the build up.

That Brady fellah is banging them in for the Irish underage teams.
