Why were there only five or six stewards on the East Stand in Tallaght tonight and another four or five sitting on a bench for the duration of the match? One particular steward appeared to put himself in some danger when asserting himself among the crowd. Why was there no obvious Garda presence in the Stadium or the environs - apart from traffic police? The club may have the best support in the country at present and be looking at a bright future  but they may pay a heavy price if they skimp on proper stewarding. In comparison to recent experiences at Richmond and Dalymount the overall crowd control measures tonight looked naive at best. It may only take a few headcases to spoil it for everyone.
