Sorry ya, I was kind of jusst reiterating what you said on reflection, maybe a programme of juvinile hurdles for fillies, an extended programme I suppose, wouldn't have to wait so long then for the rewards and it would benefit the quality of NH horses.

I read an article in the RP the other week saying that the number of NH bred mares overall racing was going down, ie, if a mare has a nice pedigree, they are just going straight to stud with them, no bumpers, hurdles or chases or even PTPs.
The reason I'd advocate juvinile hurdles, is that it might put a bit more precocity into the Irish jumping bloodlines, this would help our NH breeders compete a bit better with the French.
