Can anyone throw any light on the scenario tonight whereby the number 5 had to be drawn on Ritchard dunnes jersey at a crucial stage of the game.I personally found this very disappointing .Who is in charge of ensuring every eventuality is catered for ? Perhaps the person does the job in a voluntary capacity and my criticism is harsh .

It`s an FAI post. Would you expect anything other than incompetence? Cry

I don't think it would be much to ask to have an extra jersey for each of the outfield players on the sideline? Although that would mean taking 6 different kits to the game not sure if that is feasible.

Referee got this one wrong and apparently admitted so after the game. You do not have to have a number on shirt if its changed as a result of a blood injury. Players get 2 shirts on matchday so I'd imagine Dunne had already changed his shirt at half time. What happened to his first shirt though I've no idea.
Would have been uproar ala Paris if we had conceeded when he was off getting his number scribbled on!

the FAI just scrounging again in my opinion, the FAI are one of the most amateurishly
run FA's there is.Most countries would have 3,4 or 5 sets with them but no the boyos at the top
cant live/eat well if they spend money on what they're meant to spend it on.
This amateurism is sadly leaking onto the pitch which doesnt suprise me.

Cant believe that they had no spare kit (WHO IS THE KITMAN) should be thinking about these things

Would be suprised if they are not required to have spares jerseys even to replace torn ones or ones that get soaked at half time etc amazing got awful slagging from my two english brothers in law
