Its the same every week. Durkin was taking at least 30 seconds for a goal kick today. 8 points and at least 8 wides = 8 minutes wasted. Not saying that you should add for every second that the ball is out of play, but the ball in play time in GAA matches these days must be around 40-60%.

Players would not last the extra 20 minutes 70 is their max another 20 bringing it up to 90. It would mean most players would hardly be able to walk near the of a match nevermind run.

Yes they would last...look at games that go to Extra Time...Having played inter county I'm talking from experience...

Me too i played intercounty no way any of our players would last near 90 at full pelt. Trust me i knows it's fact.

4 minutes today was ludicrously short for the amount of time wasted in the match . Donegal were employing delaying tactics when they knew they had run out of steam . The Donegal player who took a dive and got the Dublin player red carded should be shunned forever . Know I would never pick him again if I was the manager .

It seems to me that whatever the board says goes and ref's don't care how much time is wasted in added time they will not use common sense and add on more for fear of being held up to criticism. Cluxton wasted the entire last minute coming up and taking the free yet the whistle went a few seconds before added time was up
