Maybe is a top price 5/6 with William Hill. I just drove past the course and it has been lashing rain. With the likely ease in the going she is a lay and I can see her being odds against on course tomorrow especially with Joseph O'Brien being a 6lb penalty.

Laddies went evs from 4/7 for a whole 10mins in their shops tonight

just tried to see how much i was allowed on maybe online,asked for £300 and was offered a whopping £12 MAX!! gee thanks tradefair,when you dont fancy one you really take it on!
A most enjoyable day down there yesterday, and a very nice crowd there too. The weather was perfect and there were a lot of impressive winners well backed too. The bookies had a stinker. I'm told though that the real big punters have disappeared from the ring and stick to the exchanges. That's all very well but at times as Workrider would say it is important to get to the paddock to see them before having a bet.
Race 1) Crusade (5/2f) Well backed and won handily from Pearl In the Sand who won't be long in collecting.
Race 2) Lightening Pearl (6/4f) A very taking performance from this filly who should progress to a higher level.
Race 3) Bible Belt (15/8f) Was very much wanting to get on with it in the parade ring which was a worry to me. She was locked in by Colm O'Donoghue on Wild Wind but got out and the two of them pulled away from the rest of the field. Glad to see Fran Berry going through a purple patch and his previous employer having yet again a disappointing season as imo it was an unfair sacking.
Race 4) Amour Propre (15/8f) Yet another winning jolly whose trainer Henry Candy when he paid a visit to the bookies ring remarked what a woeful price and turned on his heels. The form students knew best and coming down in class was much too good for the opposition.
Race 5) Maybe (8/13f) Backed as if defeat was out of the question and routed the opposition. Chronicle played the ring here very skilfully and certainly cleaned out a few of their colleagues.
Race 6) Castlebar Sling (20/1) Had form with Bible Belt which gave him a chance along with a trainer in form who was completing an across the card double. 40/1 on the exchanges was taken by me for £2 having been given a tip for it. I certainly didn't fancy it as I had four in the placepot and all were out with the washing. The outside draw horses did the business here which was a complete surprise to me. Future Generation (7/2f) had the worst of the draw yet ran a massive race. What to make of the draw in the future will have to be reconsidered by me.
Race 7) Didn't bother with it as I wanted to get into Kildare to see Barry Connell's gelding Black Benny in the Galway bumper where there was serious word for it at the Curragh. In the heel of the hunt I was late for it but reading between the lines it was an impressive triumph.
