A second test century for Eoin Morgan as he helps England to crush India and advance to the top of the world cricket rankings.
Another contribution to Ireland's great international sporting record. Happy

Out for one today -but always hard to follow two huge innings when you're expected to go for quick runs to facilitate possible declaration.

What a f*****g insult to the Irish. Next Thursday Ire v Eng Clontarf  SOLD OUT . . I bet the majority of the tickets will be on e-bay this morning going for 1/4 the price...It's Like Irel v Eng in a soccer international and them sending over Port Vale(sorry for the insult to Port Vale fans)..The star attraction is of course Eoin Morgan (and lets make him captain to appease the Irish) . . I bet without anyone into cricket looking at google can even tell me the whole teams first names

England one-day squad to face Ireland:
Morgan (capt),
Bairstow,
Bopara,
Borthwick,
Dernbach,
Finn,
Kieswetter (wkt),
Onions,
Patel,
Stokes,
Taylor,
Trott,
Woakes.

I agree with AD.

Just on Morgan, he's not test standard and is lucky that there isn't much on the county scene to replace him. If England pick 5 bowlers and Trott comes back he's out.

Morgan is most definitely up to test match standard, of course he is not be the best batsman in the team but then again he is playing in the best side in the world and has only been playing test match cricket for a little over a year.

Eoin Morgan produces more magic hitting with a fifty and a hundred in the first 2 ODIs against Australia.Grin
Still not enough to prevent abject England sliding to two defeats.Plain
He went off with a foot injury -danger he may miss this w/end's match.Sad

Absolutely -top hurlers would make great batsman.
Pity there's not more crossover. I know that today's training and match schedules would stop the best guys from doubling up -but when they hit their early thirties they could have a go at cricket -bet they'd love it.
