So deserved with all the problems. Pity John Galvin won't grace Croke park next week. Luimneach Abu.

1-1 in injury time? Shocked

Refs decision to award the winning point was worse than the Brogan one.
One umpire waved wide and one signalled a point.
Level with injury time up and extra time looming to get to an All Ireland quarter final.
Mind boggling.

Umpires seem to get loads wrong too...its a point..its wide ...might have to have 3 umpires in future with majority decisions required ?

Fantastic stuff for Limerick football.. listened to the game on Limericks 95 fm and by god it was heart stopping, commentary was epic. They have been unlucky the last few years, getting close to teams and been beaten at the dead end but today luck went the Treaty way. Wexford will be ripping, 5 point lead slip[smiley:crazy] , fair play to both sides, would have loved to be there!

Great night to be a Limerick supporter in Portlaois. Looked dead and buried on a few occasions but somehow managed to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. Some excellent performances from Stephen Kelly,Ian Ryan and Stephen Lavin while Tommy Stack showed just why he was asked to rejoin the panel. Hopefully now the team will get the support it deserves. 3K approx from Limerick at the match which is petty poor considering we will have nearly 20k in Thurles tomorrow.

Unbelievable stuff, Limerick GAA is back on the up. Enjoy the weekend Know Won Nose, I've no doubt we'll see the Green Army Supporters out in force at Croker in the Quarters. Best of luck tomorrow in Thurles I hope ye do the double. We'll have only one dual county left after tomorrows spectacle!

Was one of the delighted supporters up there with the brother. Some finish alright, think we deserved the bit of good fortune on the last point, after all the tight calls against us down the years. Wex didnt kick on and put the game away when they were 4 or 5 up, they seemed to think it was going to be a handy one for them in the 1st half.

Great to see Lavin & Kelly and the other veterans get the result, Lavin was in tears on the pitch after it. Would love to play the Dubs in q/f, although we would take Mayo if we got them. Now for the double tomorrow - think they are great value still at 13/8 so will get stuck in.

Got a couple for Galway from JP as well in the jacks after it!
