Coming from a big Irish firm, it's a substantial amount, no previous account activity/history with the bank, BOI cleared the funds immediately into my account. Also how long does it take a bank transfer between 2 Irish banks? Surely the transfer is quicker than 5 working days?

Thought Social welfare payments went through post office..if its a compo case check with any local travellers they'll bring you up to speed..

I wish we could have an off topic forum for you Thickster oh wait.....
I wish we could have a forum where we could get all the rift raft and stick them like a betting shop. Then if you where deemed suitable and mature enough you could graduate to these forums. I know the likes of Thickster, Robo et al would never crawl out from under their rock hard, i wish i never mentioned the words, football betting, Complicated Maths formulas, Asia, Substantial winnings, great lifestyle and then i may not have stalkers like you. |

Varies, anything over 4k, can be second checked in the Banks operations centre. Also it will be quicker if the drawer and the payee both have accounts with the same bank. Up to 7 working days possibly if it is an interbank transaction.
Bank transfer if both in the same bank, it can be effectively instantaneous, other wise interbank transfers 3-5 days. |
