You're screwed Punchestown - agree with both of those and backed Gracchus in the opener and a small bet on Knockmoy Jewel in the last - apologies in advance.

Afterwards the stewards called an inquiry into the ride on the The Real Article. O'Grady said that the horse ran above expectations and his rider Paddy Mangan's instructions were to push him out hard but not to hit him. These instructions were confirmed by the jockey and the stewards accepted this.

Mangan must have been dismayed in the first race to see the 2 leaders fall at the 2nd last.

Paddy the ref was found to be lame post race after the Stewards asked questions about its running and riding

A horse I had in training with a prominent Wexford training proved a little more forward than anticipated and got a stinker of a ride from jockey and was deservedly called in with trainer. I would have been happy for the horse to run on merit as prizemoney was good.

Trainer had to be called twice by stewards over the tannoy and appeared jogging thru the ring from the stable area with a smile on his face and was able to explain to the stewards the horse was lame post-race. Often wondered what it was that kept him so long in the stable area after unsaddling.

The amount of blatant pulling that is going on at the minute is terrible.  These blantant cases give no one an edge because they are just that, blatant.  Stewards would never ban a horse from a top trainers yard.  They only do it to the smaller man.  McNiff in Naas in Feb and Kelly in Bellewnstown a few weeks ago.
