eagle canyon ..this horse has become an enigma to me ...i've seen this fellow's last 2 runs and i'm none the wiser ..having backed him the last twice as well i'm a little in the red with this fellow..it begs the question do i go to leop and back it again tonight..this is a really smashing looking horse ..yet when the gun was put to its head on sunday he was left wanting ...i thought maybe sunday had come to soon after naas on the weds...yet here we are again a few days later and he's back out ..obviously they think he's well in himself ..thats coolmore for you ...create more puzzles and keep them guessing ...i'll keep my options open a little while longer then decide if i'll bet it or not ...

Eagle Canyon is useless but will find a maiden eventually. Not tonight for me. Camelot in the opener is an aroplane and can be backed at anything over 2/5 in my opinion. La Collina will follow home Maybe in the 6.45.

Wonky get a grip FFS.  Eagle Canyon is useless.  Doesnt matter how good looking he is.  How can you go in and back it again?  Once a horse has run in 4 or maidens they are very unlikely to win one imo.

You`re a proper glutton wr.
Camelot is a strange type of aeroplane to be running over a mile in mid July!!!???
Report ilikewavingatbuses July 14, 2011 1:33 PM BST
never backed it myself but i cant understand why he hasnt been upped in trip, running over far too short.

foot of pride
would be my guess at the prices.

Eagle Canyon is a highly talented individual, beautifully bred and had a good season as a 2yo and is just coming to himself now, we've always thought he'd make a better 3yo. He will soon be winning Group 1's over distances ranging from 6f to 20f.

OK Camelot is a Montjeu monster. I'd advise taking adabble at 40/1 for the Derby.

You heard it here first...

(unless Soldieroffortune said it already)

Laugh sinndar ...im a little under the weather .so not heading out ...one last chance for this fellow ..you know how it is lads the day you dont back em is the day they win....bolgers could be anything  and this wont take a lot of winning....

A few to lay tonight

Race 1) Camelot 1.5 Sad

Race 2) Dodging Bullets 3.2

Race 3) Maybe 1.36

Race 4) Sunset Beauty hopefully 1.7. was 1.8 now 1.73

Race 5) Do The Bosanova 5.7

Race 6) Bible Belt or Ted Dolly at 7. Both slightly over it.

Race 7) Bob Le Beau 3.45 yet to be taken. £175 wanted at 3.55 so it ought to be matched.

Temlett, FWIW I want to show that there is money to be made without any homework done on the jolly or close to it at oddschecker prices or thereabouts.

So far so good this week.

The only trouble is as soon as i hit the track I back the jollys and when the price is short and davy russell is on it I rarely collect. Cry

Hills are a shocking outfit with worse shops.

Gone from Limerick now, never used to pay bigger price on drifters after taking price, I don't miss them, but the new Mullholland shop where they were attracts more Knackers for some reason, also, the women behind their counter were very sour, I remember when I was abou 18 or 19 winning about 200 off them on a horse called Daranjan one Friday night and yer one behind the counter told me number 1)that I was lucky to have money to gamble with 2)that it was a weeks wage for some people and 3) not to look so happy because I would have blown it all by Sunday in a bookies somewhere or some nightclub.

I responded that it wasn't correct to call the dole a wageLaugh

Daranjan won the other day, nice summer chasing prospect, like him for the Beginners chase at Galway on the Saturday.

Ya probably notLaugh, backed that filly of yours each way today, they were too positive with her altogether, she was doing too much. Similar story with Lord Kenmare tonight at Leopardstown in the 8:25, another horse who is better being held up. he was 3 pounds below his last winning mark tonight and I'd say they'll find a race for him, hopefully at Dundalk.
