Ashton Rose in the second race. I have backed this every run this year. Thought at the start of the season she was one of the best handicapped horses in the country. I didnt factor one thing in though.... Pat Shanahan. He is like adding an extra stone in weight to any horse. Rubbish and that being kind to him. P Beggy now takes the ride. I also feel they have been riding the horse wrong. First time up at Tipp when i thought she wasnt off she travelled lovely in behind and then they decide to race her prominment. I hope she runs her race today and if she does she will win

Shocking is not the word. This filly is a very decent filly and is being ruined. This filly NEEDS TO BE HELD UP. Total incompetence.

very few. Had decent bet on Akinspirit. Felt that got a bad ride aswell

BWS considering Akinspirit is a dog and he wants it like the road you can't have too many complaints. Was given every chance.

I though he he didnt give him the best of rides. Didnt make a a dfference in the end. I dont think hes a dog

Well maybe calling him a dog is a bit harsh because it's not like he doesn't want tu know. However he most certainly has to be held up as long as possible and doesn't do a stroke once he hits the front which obviously complicates tactics. He was never going to be able to get past a resolute galloper like Alderwood away from the last on rain softened ground. Ran better than I thought he would.
