Anybody at this game this evening? Heard it was a stroll in the park for the dubs, really thought offaly would have put up more of a battle, looks like it was not to be. Should be a cracker of a final

offaly gone back a lot in every grade.an inept county board the main reason.amazing how easy it is for standards to drop when the people at the top are inept.i suppose all we have to do is look at the country and what happened to it.
Report GANT007 June 24, 2011 1:59 PM BST
Very easy to sit back and blame someone else.........the players in these smaller counties are just not there and we also seem to give the counties who are making progress no credit.........We can all blame county boards but if players don't put in the effort there is s*ag all that can be done.
Report kavvie June 24, 2011 2:10 PM BST
in this case its not the players gant.
Report GANT007 June 24, 2011 2:25 PM BST
What is it then..........are the better players overlooked because of selectors and internal club issues.
Report steeringjobnap June 24, 2011 2:30 PM BST
The Dubs are flying at all levels of the game & deserve massive credit.
Report GANT007 June 24, 2011 2:32 PM BST
Has GAA ever been so strong in the capital.......great work and credit to all concerned.

gant anything that can go wrong has gone wrong in offaly.they have sacked a series of managers  without being given sufficent time.thoe co board want instant success and think its like it was in the 80s and 90s..and theres lots more...
Report el gato June 24, 2011 9:49 PM BST
entirely down to co boards and how proactive they are.....dubs reaping the rewards of lots of years hard work........good luck to them...yellowbellies hot on their heels and we be back in 3 or 4 years time

Great to hear a Dublin lad doing the interviews on Wednesday night as Gaeilge.

Liam Rushe is going to be some centre back in years to come. Brilliant performance from the Dubs down in no favours Wexford Park on Wednesday night.

The Wexford full back looks very useful too he caught great ball at times.

Looking forward to the trip to Tipp Sunday week. Both matches are repeats of the 2009 1/4 finals down there. Hoping for a better result this time around.

dublin were v good , shows how far we have fallen , big choice to make for the 7/8 dual players on the wexford team in the coming months/years , looks like the big ball is the way to go imo.

Would be a pity if they chose football. Hurling is much more entertaining and exciting.
